We created a Privacy Bee account in April 2026 to see if it was worth the price tag. First, we tried the "Free Privacy Evaluation," which essentially allowed us to access the dashboard for monitoring purposes, but no deletion requests would be sent out on our behalf.
To access the dashboard, we needed to provide our email, first name, last name, birthday, and home address. This is what Privacy Bee uses to search the internet for your information, and it claims to be SOC 2–certified by a third-party auditor. This means the service was found to be compliant with the safe management of customer data.
After providing Privacy Bee with our information and paying the fee, we could access the dashboard and initiate data removal requests. To do so, we had to sign a Limited Power of Attorney form so they could send out data removal requests on our behalf.

While this can feel a bit unnerving, it's not the first time we've found a form like it, so we weren't surprised by it. We received a similiar form from Incogni and reviewed it to ensure everything was extremely limited.
The dashboard summarizes your privacy risk score for the month, your digital footprint, all-time removal activity, and recent exposures. It also flags any potential exposures for you to approve so Privacy Bee can continue to remove your data.

Privacy Bee's main feature is to make data removal requests on your behalf, but they do offer a few extra features as well. These include a browser extension that blocks trackers, an inbox scan to clean up your email, and a private search feature.
Privacy Bee boasts the highest number of data brokers and people-search sites that we've seen so far in our research, with over 1,100 being promised in its marketing.

However, in practice, we found that only 511 sites were added to our detailed dashboard after about six months of using Privacy Bee. We hope this number will continue rising as more scans are conducted.
Privacy Bee sends out recurring removal requests every 60 days in accordance with the regulations set out by both the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). On the active exposures tab, you'll find the latest information found separated by type.
Privacy Bee now includes custom removals with its Pro and Signature plans. It claims that over 180,000 custom sites are covered for data removals.
Privacy Bee also offers a few additional features that make it easier to have a proactive approach to protecting your privacy. Like most of its features, these work only with a Pro or Signature membership.
When you're setting up your account, you’ll find the ability to blur your house on Google Street View and Apple Maps. This may not be something you’ve previously considered a privacy concern, but it’s nice to have the option to do so if you wish.
Privacy Bee notes that if you blur your house, the action is permanent and cannot be undone. If you want to remove your information from Google, this is one place to start.
Privacy Bee has another helpful feature: its browser extension. These extensions allow you to designate trusted sites while inside your internet browser instead of navigating back to your Privacy Bee account.
When you’re on a website, you can use the browser extension to see information about the trustworthiness of the company. You’ll be able to easily mark the company as trusted or not, and you’ll be able to create custom privacy choices for each site.

Based on its privacy policy, Privacy Bee doesn't sell or share any personal information with outside data brokers.
It keeps logs of information about how users interact with the website, including what they access and the websites they visited before and after visiting Privacy Bee. It also provides options to opt out depending on where you reside.
Privacy Bee uses SSL to increase security, and it encrypts all databases, but it does not specify which encryption method it uses. Instead, Privacy Bee says it is “according to cybersecurity best practices,” but we wish it were more specific.

Privacy Bee only has seven reviews, so we're not too concerned about it having less than four stars on Trustpilot. The five-star reviews mention its user-friendly dashboard and cost-efficient subscription price.
The one-star review mentions that it's difficult to cancel the service, while the three-star review mentions that the removals slowed down noticeably after the initial sign-up period.
Privacy Bee comes with tons of features, but its price point may be high for some. Based on our experience, Privacy Bee claims to remove data from 1,100+ data brokers and people-search sites; however, we didn't see personal removals near that figure after six months of testing.
We believe Incogni is the most transparent data removal service on the market, as its website openly lists the sites contacted with an Incogni subscription, a rare feature.
Aura is another trustworthy service that, like Incogni, continues to expand its removal requests. With Aura, you need to log in to see the complete list of sites contacted.
DeleteMe is a solid hands-off data removal service, but its marketing tends to inflate the number of removal requests by claiming 750+. In actuality, it's more comparable to Aura.
