Total Adblock and AdLock both have solid free versions, but they also offer affordable paid plans with unlimited blocking capabilities. Total Adblock provides a highly competitive introductory offer of $1.59/mo (billed annually).

After the first year, the price increases significantly to $8.25/mo (billed annually), which is a notable jump to factor in. But Total Adblock Premium adds TotalAV antivirus protection, device optimization tools, and unlimited ad blocking.

On the other hand, AdLock has monthly, annual, and five-year plans available. Its monthly subscription costs $3.50/mo, so you’ll receive a substantial discount with one of the long-term plans.

Both services offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, providing a risk-free opportunity to test their capabilities.

Winner: Total Adblock. Although the price increases after the first year, you'll receive a full digital security suite.

Total Adblock and AdLock have the standard ad blocker features in common: an ads blocked counter, whitelisting, malicious ad warnings, and the ability to block pop-up ads, trackers, video ads, and banner ads.

But Total Adblock has a leg up on AdLock for blocking push ads. With Total Adblock Premium, you can disable browser notifications, but AdLock doesn't have an equivalent feature.

Total Adblock Premium adds more than just unlimited ad blocking; you'll also receive TotalAV antivirus and PC Tune-Up tools.

On the other hand, AdLock Premium includes features like unlimited ad blocking, a spyware filter, and a social media filter. The Premium plan also expands compatibility with apps for Windows and macOS. With these AdLock Premium desktop programs, you can also block ads in apps.

Winner: Total Adblock. It was a tight race, but we appreciate Total's ability to block push ads.
