The Dallas Mavericks open the 2026-27 season on October 21 at the Rockets. Local games air free over the air on KFAA Channel 29 and stream on MavsTV, and the rest air nationally on ABC, ESPN, NBC, Peacock, NBCSN, and Prime Video.
Below is every scheduled game, the channel carrying it, and what to do if you're watching from outside the Dallas market.
KFAA Channel 29 carries the Mavericks' local games free over the air in Dallas-Fort Worth, and on affiliates in 13 more markets across Texas and nearby states. Every local broadcast also streams on MavsTV. The team puts its local package at 65 games. NBA's schedule feed leaves 51 games to the local broadcaster and marks the other 29 as national, which means KFAA also carries roughly 14 of the national broadcasts.
The tables below mark KFAA 29 on the 51 games the feed leaves local, and show the national channel on the rest. Two more games get added after Emirates NBA Cup group play finishes in December. Games on KFAA are subject to local blackout rules, and out-of-market viewers can get those through NBA League Pass.
