The Miami Heat open the 2026-27 season on October 21 against the Timberwolves. Every game that isn't a national-only broadcast airs free over the air on WPLG Local 10, which carries 66 of the 80 scheduled games. The other 14 air on ABC, ESPN, NBC, Peacock, NBCSN and Prime Video.
Below is every scheduled game, the channel carrying it, and what to do if you're watching from outside the Miami market.
WPLG Local 10 carries 66 of the Heat's 80 scheduled games free over the air. Of those, 49 are local-only broadcasts, and 17 are national games Local 10 also carries. The remaining 14 are national-only, on ABC, ESPN, NBC, Peacock, NBCSN and Prime Video, with one carrying a Spanish-language broadcast on Telemundo.
The tables below list the 80 games on the 2026-27 schedule and the channel for each. Two more games get added after Emirates NBA Cup group play finishes in December. The Local 10 broadcasts also stream free on Local 10 Plus Platinum, and out-of-market viewers can get the local games through NBA League Pass.

Unlike the NFL, the NBA doesn't hold exclusive rights to its games. Local broadcasters hold the rights to games within a team's home region, which limits fans trying to watch from elsewhere.
If you live outside the Miami market, NBA League Pass is the straightforward option. It streams out-of-market games live, including the 66 Heat games on WPLG Local 10.
If you live in South Florida, League Pass won't work for Heat games. It blacks out your local team in both directions: local games unlock three days after they air, and nationally broadcast games unlock at 6 a.m. ET the next day.
